Conscious Cities Podcast

Conscious Cities is a movement around the concept of built environments that are aware and responsive to our needs through data analysis, artificial intelligence, and the application of cognitive sciences in design.

This podcast series runs in tandem to the conference series and the journals. The conference is arranged annually in London, UK, in which we host leading international figures detailing how their advances in their respective subjects of technology, neuroscience and architecture & design are leading to a more human centric and more consciously designed city. The journal series featured on the website, www.ccities.org, which hosts an array essays collected via an open-call format by people around the world in how we push the built environment industry forward in the face of the complexities urbanisation is bringing.

This podcast is going to focus on the built environment industry in London. Right now London is at an interesting crossroads, a city organically developed over the centuries is contriving to become a mega-city. With that comes some teething troubles. In a 1-1 interview series, We’ll be speaking with interesting people working deep in the real estate and built environment industries working on the edges of city of tomorrow. We’ll try to identify holes in macro plans and great opportunities ahead that can be seized.
